Effluent Filters for Industrial & Waste Water Treatment Plants

In general the Industrial & Waste Water Treatment Plants are required to separate the large coarse inorganic solids while allowing the smaller particles through the main treatment stages of the plant. The solids required to be separated in order to reduce the solid load on the downstream processes & thus improve efficiency.

Also the separation of the solids prevents any damages to pumps that are not geared to pump large solids. To achieve the above-mentioned results Ell Ess has designed the V-SEP range of effluent filters equipments for dewatering purpose. The V-SEP range includes following equipments

  Rapid Pulse Candle Filter

The Rapid Pulse Candle Filter is modification of our Candle Filter and is developed for filtration of the low-porosity solids and slimy liquids. Due to the low porosity of the solids the filter element gets choked very fast as a result the elements are to be cleaned quite often. Instead of going for very high area these filters can be used with a low filtration area to get the desired result.

The solids from the primary filtration equipments carry a lot of moisture with them, which has to be dewatered further. The V-SEP Screw Compactor efficiently does the job. For the treatment of very wet solids, either a V-SEP Static Screen or V-SEP Rotary Drum can be well coupled before the V-SEP Dewatering Press.

  V-SEP Rotary Drum

The V-SEP Rotary Drum is a continuous filter using the Welded Wedge Wire filter element and is ideally suited for filtration of sticky solids / liquids. Normally V-SEP Rotary Drum can be used for filtering solids from 250 microns & above. This unit is an ideal unit which can be used in effluent pre-filtration section of ETP and STP plants.

This is the most simple and effective filter for filtration of free flowing and non-sticky solids. It is a completely static unit with continuous filtration and consumes no power. The filter uses the welded wedge wire filter element, which works on surface filtration principle. The filtration rating from this filter can be as low as 50 microns.
